Keynote Speech Title: Towards Effective Human Capital Management Framework
In essence, the keynote address will include topic on human capital management which have been proved to create superfluous competitive advantages through critical and innovative human capital in organizations. The concept of human capital has received a tremendous emphasis not only in Human Resource Management literature but also in the managerial practice over the last 15 years. It is undeniable that human capital management proves to provide positive value to the organizations, thus recently a new framework of human capital management has been developed that guide the managers to leverage the value of their human capital through the managerial actions. In particular, the address will delineate the five dimensions of human capital; namely cognitive, behavioral, fit, flexibility and measurement components; which then they should be managed according to the managerial actions such as knowledge management, change management, strategic HRM, human resource development and the HR metrics and eventually this would be able to outline the respective organizational outcomes.
Biography of Dr. Siti Sarah Omar
Dr. Siti Sarah Omar is a lecturer at the Faculty of Technology Management and Business, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) Johor Malaysia since 2008. She obtained her Phd Degree in Management from University of Southampton, United Kingdom in 2015. She was graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia for the Bachelor Degree of Business Administration with Honors in 2002 and Master of Science (Human Resource Development) at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Johor in 2006. Prior to joining UTHM she had two years teaching experience at the private higher institution in Kuala Lumpur. Her expertise is in the field of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Networking. She has published several Scopus indexed journals and conference proceedings since 2010.
